MK5 Polo GTi *SOLD*

Post by CymruPolo »

It's an X-reg 2001 MK5 Polo GTi with just over 45.5k miles, full service history and I'm the third owner. The car is in mint condition all round with no scratches or dents at all. The gearbox and clutch (upgraded to a much better Sachs clutch) were changed at around 29k miles.

MOT until February 2010, and it was last serviced in March this year.

None of the modifications have been carried out on the cheap, and I've tried to change what I believe adds to how the car looks without going over the top!

Here's a list of every modification I've done:

Exterior:

- 16" BBS RX wheels with 195/40/16 tyres
- Smoothed bumpers and colour coded/smoothed splitter
- Smoothed sides and the lines under the rear lights
- Black b-pillars
- Wing mirror bases sprayed black
- VW Sharan colour coded rear badge
- Lowered around 80mm on KW Variant 1 coilovers
- 6n2 Polo Estate rear wiper
- De-locked passenger door handle
- Smaller driver side wing mirror to match passenger side
- LED side lights to closer match the standard xenons
- Phillips Silver Vision indicator bulbs
- Phillips Vision Plus main beam bulbs

Interior:

- Audi TT pedal rubbers
- Black rear view mirror
- Golf Anniversary door sill protectors
- Personalised tax disc holder

Engine

- Standard 1.6 16V except for a BMC CDA induction kit

Included with the sale are all the original parts: BBS RXII wheels with tyres, rear view mirror, driver side wing mirror, rear badge, pedal rubbers, air filter, passenger door handle with lock, rear wiper suspension.

There will also be a spare gearbox included.

I'm looking for around £4800 o.n.o

If you've got any questions please feel free to ask them in here or send me a PM. Thanks for looking :-)

Thanks Tim & Mouse :)

I'm getting a MK4 Golf R32, picking it up in a couple of weeks so I really hope I can sell the Polo before then.

Cheers Chris. It might be gone after the weekend, we'll see. I think I'll be gutted to see it go, but I'm looking forward to getting the R now :)

Do you think you will get 4500+, thinking about moving on from mine - and the prices of GTI's are all over the show!! No idea what to put it up for!
