fao white polo gti
have lowered my car and had it tracked, im getting rubbing on the front arch liners as the car goes over drops in the road surface, how did you stop this, as its starting to very slowly eat my aches and very quickly becoming annoying, ideally too, raising the front is not an option, as it sits sweet

Re: fao white polo gti
mines really low now cant get my fingers inbetween tyre and arch, i removed both screws and the insert in the arch for the screw folded the lip right back and cut the square pieces out of the arch liner if you get me??!! Then as you will see the arch is very thin , warm up the arch with a hair drier or heat gun and gently pull the arch out a tad not alot though and this gives a few more mm, the only problem i have is where the bumper mounts to the arch , but im working on that ! Mine is great now and only rubs on very deep pot holes!
hope this helps jeff!

Re: fao white polo gti
i take few pictures how i fixed it

i lade the wheel arche a halv cm wider.
en the metal where the screw was holding is gone.
now im at the end of my suspension and having no problims anymore.
but the easy way out is e smaller tyre.

Re: fao white polo gti
what offset etc are you running mine are 35mm offset and 7.5inch wide wheels and 205/40/17 tyres you need to fold the metal flap all the way up both of them and pull out the arch a few mm and cut away the square piece of the arch liner where the bolt used to go through!!!

Your lucky how thin your front sraches are. You'd never be abel to pull that off on a 6N2. Have any of you tried running 205/40s?
