Turbo

Hi

Had my car serviced and they picked up a very oily EGR valve. Was explained that this is caused by the oil seals on the turbo weeping. Sounds like a new turbo is going to be required so might be a good time to look at upgrading. Any suggestions on what to go for, were to get it done and ball park costs.

Found this - http://www.egrvalve.co.uk/ would by passing the EGR valve etc cause any problems with mot/emissions?

it wont effect anything, ive got mine done, makes the car accelerate abit quicker i think, plus i didnt even use one of them kits when it can be done with abit of tin ( from a baked beans tin lid )
