hey my polo gti is cutting out randomly. ive cleaned the throttle body and toke it to a garage and they found nothing. any advice on what it could be.

Have you run VAG-COM on it to see if there are any faults with the engine? It could be a huge variety of things... crank position sensor could cause the problem, as could a dodgy fuel pump...

Will the ht leads not cause this too??? Or does that just make it misfire...

If the problem is intermittant then an HT lead short would just give a missfire on one cylinder..
The coilpack could be having a spaz and be dying though...
We need more info... like what warning lights and what the OP was actually doing when the engine died etc

well it cuts out on junctions and sometime when im moving even at 70 and the only light tha comes on is battery light and when i start it again(when moving) its 3-4 beeps and then the abs light flashes.

Faulty battery or a dead alternator sound like the cause.
