im thinking about changing my rims but i dont know which are the widest wheels you can put on a polo gti without having to make modifications ?
7.5 J or 8.0J ?(or even wider )


im interested in buying 17'' ones...

some people have 8,5 or even 9J on their polos, but then the arch work is necessary

8J would be great, but it also depends on the ET of the wheel

do you have any idea what the ET should be for 8J or 7.5J so that no arch-work is needed ?

I think that ET 35 is optimal

I have 8J with ET35 and the wheel is in the line with the arch..I can send you pics if you're interested
