Drivers side electric window problem!!!!!!

Post by polo_mad »

Hi all, when i brought this car the drivers side window was playing up. It worked if i pressed the button down with force. it was also jamming when trying to close. Which meant lifting the window up myself. Now its totally knackered. What is a suitable remedy? I heard the old wd40 sometimes works? PLEASE HELP! Cheers.

When you take the door cards off and you get the window mechanism out, you can see that its probably just come off the runner things.
There's a topic in here somewhere, i can't find it atm:/

Managed to fix the problem. and as you said Brad the clip came off the runner. So it just needed popping back on. and secured. Thanks again.
