Hey, is 35 quid a run mates rates or usual? Got the address? Live on the outskirts of Blackburn, so not far away.

Could you not get a bigger air feed in mate, or is it too tight? Maybe run another one from somewhere else?

Does anyone know if you were to fit 3" MAF would it need to be mapped again to suit? Going to be ordering a new clutch too soon, getting everything ready for stage three :P

3" MAF will work if you fit TT225 injectors and 4 bar FPR ...

I have 3" MAF and TT225 Injectors for sale £125 :-)

You can buy the 4 bar FPR from somewhere like Euro Car Parts for about £40.

We just built another K04-001 Polo for a customer ... he just picked it up ... and was well pleased :-))

Kenny ... you should get your K03s made hybrid.... with 270/280 the Polo will feel well fast ....

Would mapping not be required with these fitted??? Also isnt my K03s maxed out pretty much @ 224bhp and 243 lb/ft??? Am wanting to go the next stepped but just trying to decide how to go about it, buy the parts need seperate, go hybrid, go gt28rs, just take it somewhere and get it all done and fitted by them? Been doing a bit of looking about for prices, where i would need to travel to etc and still not sure??? Anyone been thinking about stage 3 too??

*** Sorry for the hyjack chris

no mapping reqd to fit the 3" MAF, Injectors and FPR - but the only reason to do it is if the standard MAF is maxed out. You will see this on the dashboard when pushing hard at say 5,000rpm the little triangle light will flash... when you back off it goes off.

get your K03s taken off and sent away to make hybrid, you will need the 3" MAF and injectors and mapping (you might get away with running Leon Cupra R tuned software - would make mapping much cheaper)

i think this would be a really nice conversion for the Polo..

So all i need then is 3" MAF and injectors if going the K03s Hybrid route then mapping??? Going to get in touch with CR turbos for backdraft about the hybrid, should be ABLE TO BUY ONE STRAIGHT OF THE SHELF SURELY (oops caps)? Then i can just swap them and sell my K03s on?
