i think it looks like an absolute nightmare, no offense to your firend!

badges look good, did you prime and laquer them also though? as being on the front they're likely to chip!

Ha, no worries Tim, each to their own and all that.

Yep I primered and laquered, didn't wanna do any shortcuts, cos I couldn't be bothered to re-do them in the future

Well yes and no... The coilovers weren't set up right and the wheel was actually touching the spring. Knackered the bearing and the tires.

Looking good! Like the wide arch on the fiesta also.
I think you should get your wheels powdercoated lime green like your badges! Would definately make it stand out.

Yeah that's what the plan was with the wheels but if somebody else has done it already I won't bother..

Just had the retest...

Emissions have gone right down. Had a wee blast out before I dropped it off for the retest and it done it some good.

That looks awesome! Thanks for that Luke. Think I want a brighter green but aye you've def gave me push to go ahead to do it.. Think I'll be sensible though and get it photoshopped first.

Oh and btw, get rid fo the the red piping, doesn't go wth the green, and the badge will look ace - I toyed with the green VW front badge at first.

They are much brighter in real life, lol! Think its just tht im not very good with the girlfriends camera, my dad has n DSLR so i will have to borrow tht at some point n get some good picy's! Yeah i agree tht red pipping does look a bit poo, if i did tht it myt end up looking like the multi coloured 6n tht they do, haha!

Looking forward to some more updates!!

The VW chrome bit comes off from the full plastic badge bit if that makes sense?? Took me a bit of time and LOADS of patience to do so.. But there's just some clips on the back that's got it attached to the full thing. I never took any pics, sorry. I used a knife to ease it apart - BE CAREFUL IF YOU DO TRY IT THOUGH you could easily snap the chrome part.

That pic doesn't really show anything, but the VW part and the plastic bit does come apart.

That above pic is the front badge dude. It does come apart from the grey plastic part, but do it carefully of like I said the chrome part will snap.
The clip around the edge of the badge are easyish to come apart - But there's a clip in the centre of the badge on the back. I had to kinda snap it to get it apart or it wouldn't budge at all.

If you get your front badge out of the grill it'll all make sense.
