removing front seats?

any advice, tips on how to remove the front seats? jus wanna give the inside a big ass clean. (yes i have OCD for cleaning my vw) :mrgreen:
3 door 9n3.

First of all make sure that your key is not in the ignition barrell. You will then need the correct size of spline bit and socket to remove the front seats. there are two bolts at the front and two at the rear once these are removed you will need to disconnect the multiplug sockets under the seats for the air bag ,heated seats etc. Fitting is the reverse of this and again make sure that your keys are not in the ignition as you will connecting the airbags back up.

exactly as abouve, however i dont think i had to unplug anything when i took mine out :s i was wondering this when i was doing it too, i thought there shoulda been something to disconnect

oh okay cheers for the advice mate. sounds like an easy enough job, would of been a pain if i didnt know about the airbag connections.

What about if i disconnect the battery first and then i unplug everything?
will this work? :roll:

Hello? What is your point of posting this? a bit obvious is it not? Maybe you should put your location as MOON not earth as you seem to be wired to it!
