Electric Window/Central Locking Problem

Post by goride85 »

My mate has a 6n2 and everytime he puts the key in the drivers door lock and opens the car the windows go down,
Then when ge goes to lock the car it sometimes wont lock both doors, any ideas on this problem?

i bet its not the central locking pump, i guess and am probably correct, check the door lock and paddle, open the door and see the torx screw remove this, push the handle towards the front of the car, then lift the lock out, check that the paddle and others parts are not damaged, is a cheap fix, but a bit of a pain to do

does the key spring back to central postion without forcing it.......if not its the above problem

let us know how u get on
