Black GTI front grill.

Hi, decided to get a black gti front grill like the one on the pic below (soz ross for using ur pics, hope u dont mind) but keep the original silver badge. Been quoted £20 and think it looks mint. Just wondering how you go around fitting it?

Mate, its so easy a fool like me was able to put it on :lol:
All you need is a flat-head screwdriver and prize the clips open slightly it will lift out with ease.

Glad you like the look and of course i didnt mind you using my pic :)

I was going to get a kamai one but just thought the GTI one kept 'it in the family' :lol:

polopowah, was thinking of getting a badgeless grill like urs but realised that theres a round bit on the bonnet. How would I go around getting it filled in?

you would need to speak to a good bodyshop who could weld a section of metal in and spray it

yeah
the kamei kit comes with a half-moon sort of crescent shape to stick in place where that gap is from taking off the rather large vw badge
i had it recently sprayed mettalic when i had my spoiler done, and it looks mighty trick

K. How much is one of these kamei kits and where can i get one from. Cant the half moon insert be obvious that its not the actuall bonnet or is it unobvious?

Do you stick the insert on with glue or just attach?

spoke to a mate who had the whole 'bad boy' thing done on his and he thinks K-Styling is the place to go if you want it done :)
