VW Sportief Meeting (Pics!)

Post by Speedlaw »

Went to the season opener today, @ the Lelystad Circuit. Excellent weather, reasonable cues, and loads of nice cars...

Some very bad ones too, to be honest. Here's some pics.

Didn't speak to him or the company, they were too busy doing other stuff, apparently. Looked very nice though, clean and effective! There were no power gains claimed or engine info of any sort given... Don't know why.

Interested though!

Nice Photos! Thanks!

Yellow Numberplates on the fronts of cars looks cool on most cars (different to our white front plates) but I must say that it looks very out of place on a red car (the red polo gti)...

Looks like there was a good turnout of polos... And the weather looked good to!

Just noticed your new sig pic! Very Nice mate!

in france its white at the front and yellow rear but a lot of tuning folk use a white rear that looks amazing but carries a £400 fine

We have nothing but yellow plates, so the whole plate-changing-thing doesn't come into play here really. White looks better though, Germans and Brits (and Swiss... and Austrians) have it better i suppose.

Weather was very nice indeed, but looking back I am sort of dissapointed in the quality of the cars there. I feel that there's about ten or 15 cars in the Dutch Dub scene that set the pace and are on a higher level alltogether. I'm referring to Emiel (Nimbus Golf) for instance, that's just in a different league. There's too much FATF going on, not enough class...

Just MHO.
