Hey
My cars engine management light intermittently comes on and sometimes flashes when my car stutters, it can be worse some days and not there at all, can even get to the point where it feels like the car has lost half its power and i need to rev it to get it moving, when it is really bad and low on power it can struggle to get up hills and requires a lot of revs before changing gears
Would it be the barrel? or something else?
Thanks
how do you lnow the Ignition Barrel Failed

Re: how do you lnow the Ignition Barrel Failed
The barrel would prevent starting (your actually referring to the ignition switch)
That sounds more like a coilpack problem, or a temperature sender problem.
Take it to a garage or a friend that can run vagcom diagnostics on it as something is definately not right.
