New little project for me.
Well i had an awesome weekend and bought a G40
Cant wait to get it on the road as it has not Tax. Getting it in a few weeks but this is gonna be awesome. So around october time i could be selling my 1.6 polo
but more power is required.

Congratulations! What are you going to aim for? Performance or optics? If performance, try to score yourself a 1,4 Diesel engine from a mk3 at a scrappy's, swap the crank + connecting rods and you've got yourself a 1,4 G40
Like the Americans always say: "there's no substitute for cubic inches"
But do put in some fresh piston-rings, and maybe even get yourself a G60 charger on it, lot of stuff for the conversion to be obtained on German Ebay (search for "G40 G60" and you're off), plug in a decent Schrick G40 camshaft (also on German Ebay there's lots to find) and then you're off for the thrill of a life time, 1,4 8v with long duration cam an higher boost over the entire rev-range, without stressing your charger (even de-stressing the G60-charger compared to an original Golf G60!) and you'll be burning up the tarmack! Start training 1/4 miles and go do some work on the next sprint-event in the UK

Was gonna get eaton but the g40 guys on the polo g40 forum said they can be more hassle so just looking for g60 charger. Someone is selling a diesel bottom end, dont know if u can view it but here is the link http://www.polog40.co.uk/forum/index.ph ... 290.0.html
Got a few things i wanna do to it, but im planning on keeping it looking standard and going performance 100%
