17" alloy wheel offset

looking at some 17" can any one tell me whats the best offset im runing r32 brakes

Around et32 should be ok, that's if 17s fit over the r32 brakes

i had et 35 7 inch wide and that was max really without any scrubbing, and if you get oz or team dynamics they are designed for max brake fit !!i wouldnt go any lower offset unless you wanna have rubbin etc! 8x18 on a 35mm offset just fit as you prob know

i have 8x17 with et 35 and HR springs. absolutely no scrubbing.

dont know with the brakes, because i run on stock and there is about one cm between the wheel and the brake.

The ProRace1 is but the ProRace 1.2 has pretty poor caliper clearance. ProRace 1 is no longer available to the public sadly.

R32 brakes are 345mm on the MK5 and IIRC, 328mm on the MK4. Both will fit under a decent 17" wheel like the Rota G-Force, which has tonnes of caliper clearance.

The R32 brakes weigh an absolute tonne and will only be truly effective with the corresponding MK5 master Cylinder to shift the right amount of fluid into them, otherwise you'll get a long pedal.

AP Racing 4 pots is the way to go. Expensive, but there is nothing better. If you take stopping seriously, it's the only way to go
