Weird Electric Problem

Post by xceejayx »

Hi, today i've been having a couple of problems - i wonder if anyone has any ideas.

Electric Windows

The drivers side window doesnt work at all.
The passenger side window works fine up & down using the control on the passenger door, but will only go down by the drivers side control.

Central Locking

Doesnt work at all using the key on the drivers side, but works with the key on the passenger side.
Locks by the button in the door, but won't unlock.

:?

Could it just be a fuse or something?? cuz its all gone at the same time....

Could be a fuse mate, id check that first till you try anything else. I had the same problem with the windows. I took off the door cards to check if the window had come off the runners. And they had! common problem. Clip the brackets back onto the runners. And cabletie them. Theres a guide on my posts i think.

if you take out the fuse door then youll see a fuse diagram. locate the window fuses and replace. voila

shouldn't do as there's a fuse for central locking and electric windows.
