New Polo on its way - Auto Door Locking / Cruise control?

Hi

I'm new to this forum but it looks like you're a great bunch!

I've just bought a Polo 1.6 Sport (5 door) for my wife, 56 plate with just 12,000 miles, looking forward to picking it up in 10 days time.

We've had a few VW / Audis and I have a fully registered VAG-COM lead (HEX & CAN).

Does anyone know whether you can configure the Polo's control modules so that the doors will lock automatically as you set off (usually at about 5mph) ?

Also, it has the multifunction computer fitted (same as the GTI). Will I be able to simply buy the correct column stalk, fit it, and enable cruise control using my VAG-COM as well?

Any help would be much appreciated...

You can program auto door locking via vag-com, very simple to do... You can easily find a tutorial on the net...

About the CC...you'll need vag-com as well, but i don't know if you gonna need something else beside the column stalk...

i also have a 1.6 sport 3door, very good cars though still pulls well
and Vag-com would do your door locking, like FaMeL said.
