1.8 Turbo

Post by wul3er »

Im gonna be getting this engine in my mk 5 next year (winter)

Does anyone know how much JBS Auto Designs would charge.

I would be supllying the engine and all running gear and will also need the back brakes converted. Im not wanting to phone them yet as its way to early, but i would like a rough idea of how much money i need to save.

Cheers for any help guys

i think the best thing you could do it phone jbs!

There must be loads of things to account for, and im sure that various different places charge different ammounts!

(hope that makes sence  )

my bro foned awsome GTI bout the conversion, they said its costly and u also need some sort of emobiliser code to actually work the engine, n veedub don't give em out that easily! also the clocks would have to be changed we were told, higher top speed etc.
