Exhaust HELP

part of my stock gti exhaust system has been damaged so if any of you guys have parts of this system lying around please let me know as i will need to replace the part ASAP. thanks

lol erm dnt think its that part mate sound like its right next to the engine so until the guy gets it on the ramps we just think its the down pipe

check your turbo , mine came loose from the manifold and was blowing ! common problem!

thanks to both of you guys the guy is gna hav a look on the ramps with the car on Monday so will let u no wts happening hopefully its just the turbo has come loose so its just a tighten up jobby

also did you lose power when ur turbo was loose? how did you find out it was the turbo? where is it located so i can take a look myself to see if there is any movement thanks

When under your car just follow your exhaust up to the engine, you'll see your exhaust connect on to the the manifold which in turn us connect on to the turbo. Cant miss it mate.

went to the garage 2day guys saying hes gna need 2 strip it down to see exactly whats rong which is gna cost £100 for 2hrs labour and then once the problem is found it could be (HOPEFULLY NOT) very expensive to repair

it will be the turbo bolts they are on the top of the manifold when its cold you can reach round and feel if they are loose! where do you live ??
