im just wundering what power speakers i should be needing if i want to link it to my amp (800 or a 1200) because the speakers i have atm which are linked up are not good enough when loud and just crackle like hell

I don't know much about speakers but I think the general rule is to buy speakers just a bit more powerful than your amp.

So say you use the 1200 amp and you have 4 speakers, each speaker will then use about 300W maximum (if they're all equally powered). So you'd want your speaker power to be around and above 300W..... I think, lol.

Budget is a big factor too
