Re: polo TDI engine conversion
Is it really worth all the hassle mate?
If you have the time and money then go for it but I suggest the MK6 9N Polo GT 1.9TDI 130BHP with 224 ft lbs of torque.
That car is capable of 175-80 BHP and 295 ft lbs of Torque with an engine re-map.
Its the same engine as the Fabia VRS, Seat Ibiza & Leon etc
Sounds like your after the Golf GT TDI 150 engine & box

The problem you will face though is coming from a KLINE engine to a CANBUS engine, which means you will have all kinds of problems getting it to link up with the existing clocks and management systems around the car
Plus the chassis on the other car is different, so youd need custom mounts, drive shafts, clutching systems etc. Could be quite costly!
