Paint it matt black?

Post by bananaskin »

my polo's paintwork is pretty shot and dull, plus just ordered a new wing which will need to be painted.

How much would it cost to do it all matt black, and how would i go about it?

Also anyone got any pics of a matt black 6n?

Thanks

Do it yourself, around £50 I recall someone said but don't take my word for it lol.

Search 'matt black' in the forum and you'll find so many examples.

Here's one that gets in every matt thread lol

Believe this pic is when it was changed to satin but looks similar.

Does it need to be fully rubbed down?

Where can you get the paint from?

definately paint it matt black mate...hey NOZ..it was meee:D 50 quid!! jus get some wet and dry paper and take off the lacer on your car and ruff the top coat underneath that! find a place wheres theres not much wind, and spray away.. obviously cover your windows and wheels..

the best thing about spraying it yourself, if you do scratch it or what most matt black dubbers do....draw all over it with chalk you can just spray over it.

im doing it myself at the end of the month! pay day!!

^^ Let us know what that looks like.

It would've been a good option for me but the paintwork on my cars too good to ruin!
