Stalling

Hi all. Why does my car want to stall a lot? When its still the engine just seems juddery. It makes me look like im a crap driver..help!! :?

if my bf removes the throttle body will he need vag com to re-align the tb butterfly he seems to think its a dirty tb the tick over is quite low and the revs hang quite alot

does it stall/cut out when stood still etc.? if it does then ya'l need to replace the throttle body because its not letting the correct amount of fuel through, even though its not cheap i reccomend to buy a brand new throttle body =]

No not when its still but when your starting to move off. My fella is gonna have a look and clean it at the weekend to see if this makes any difference? Thanks for the reply :)

Have a good look at the TB, plugs, leads, filters, fuel pump etc.

Clean the TB with carb cleaner and see how it goes. Althoguh i'e not had issues, you should relign the TB with VAGCOM.

same happened to my car when i first had it...took the air filter box off and cleaned the throttle body flap and tunnel with carb cleaner and my dads tooth brush lol...worked a treat run alot smoother!
