MOT coming up!

Post by KennyPOLO_Gti »

I know cars with remaps on them pass mot emissions, but i cant see how a car putting in more fuel and air mixture comes out with same emissions as a standard set up??? (This is my 1st MOT ever!)

Also what do they check with your dipped beams??? I have upgraded to HIDs 6000K

if you have a cat you will be ok as the sensors adjust fueling to suit! no cat then you might have to pay more for a pass

Sensor that connects into the cat??? Is that what that one does. I thought it was the one on the down pipe that adjusted the air/fuel and the one in the cat measured the emissions to see if the cat is working. I had a load of hassle when i had my cat in, kept throwing up emissions warning. Hoping that was cos my car wasnt running right tho, had it mapped again since.

if you have no cat it will fail! the sensor after the cat monitors that the emissions are in check thats! the one near the turbo sorts out air fuel mixture and makes the engine run rich lean rich lean in a cycle cos thats how the cat burns off the crap!
