Problems!!!

Post by KennyPOLO_Gti »

On my way into work this morning my fell down (doesnt actually sit in my exhaust, sits tucked away in a pocket). Anyways, it has fell down from where it was "tucked" up and been dragged along the road till i stopped! The emissions light came up and i just knew what would be wrong, had a look under and some of the wires have been damaged going into the probe :( HELP NEEDED TO WHAT I CAN DO PLEASE

I have my cat in just now for the MOT the other day and it has a dummy o2 sensor in it as i had problems with my o2 sensor before and got it removed and tucked under the same bit of plastic yours will be at. Anyway, my o2 sensor managed to fall out as i said and tore 3 out of the 4 wires!

So got my car into work and put on the ramp at the garage durning my lunch to have a look, it was totally gubbed!!!! Non-repairable! :-(

So cut off the remaining one wire and trimmed back all the wires and crimped to dummy lambda onto them. Cleared the fault and all is well!!!!

Hope that makes sense lol
