Lowering Spring Question

Post by Jay_6n2 »

Hi Guys,

I have a 6n2 1.4 16v (75bhp)

Have been offered two sets of Weitec 40mm springs...

1 set from a 1.4 8v 60bhp
1 set from a 1.6 Gti

Will either set fit? and would the gti ones be lower as the car is lower as standard?

If someone could help ide appreciate it.

if you get springs i guarentee 6 months down the line you get coilovers... 40mm on a 6n2 is nothing... yo saw mine and i reckon thats about 100mm plus... and theres still room for more drop !

springs would just be a wate of time and money.

40mm on a polo isn't much. Either of them springs will go on. Fitting the springs is a piece of p*** as well. You need any help let us know I can guide you through it bud.
