Some idiot..( not me..hahahah ) chopped the loom in fustration so had to resolder connections back on to ensure i have lights for now, albeit standard 9n ones
Would destroying the plastic clip to release the wiring, then just placing the open ends over the light pins work? Guessing it would but wouldnt stay in place extremely well?
VW said they dont do the clip on its own, but instead sell looms at £36 each.
so £72.
f**k that, may just get ones from Venom that are plug and play or if Kitt hurries up, give him some cash!
Any easier way to get 9n3 rears to work on a 9n?

get yourself down to a scrappy that has a vw 9n3 in and take the wires out of it get them for buttons and you will be able to solder them and shrink rap the connection easily.

Which plug and play ones do Venom do out of interest? And £72 from VW for the loom? Oh dear...
Like I said, Really should have got round to researching into this earlier. Gave up on the idea as not many people were interested and I was having trouble getting hold of some of the parts. Then, Chewy PM'd me not long ago asking for an update and I got back on the case and managed to get hold of the part numbers after a bit of enquiring.
Unfortunately I'm really tied up with an exam on Friday and then moving to London on Sunday to start uni again. I'll try and sort something out in the next couple of weeks if I can...

Venom do InPro ones, look just like standard 9n3 ones...just plug and play for 9n..
And, i may just take apart the plastic connector and move the wires about, then sellotape it back together?
Like, split it in half, so you can get to connections, then move, then sellotape back together if that makes sense?
Cut sideways down it so it splits into top and bottom allowing you to get to wire heads..
