Hello i have recently bought and smoothed a 16v front bumper, i should hopefully be finishing the primer today and painting tomorrow.
however i was wondering after putting on the final layer of black magic spray, what needs to be done (if anything) before applying the laquer?
thanks

for a good finish you want to let the top coat harden before applying laquer, e.g. 2/3 days and then laquer it...layer by layer, built it up slowly and dont apply to much at once, obviously you know you dont wana spend all this time spraying it to get it right and then have to rub it all down again becuase you gota run in the laquer

Re: Laquer help please
wat i sometimes do which gives a good finish, mainly to small bits, so not sure on a larger bumper, will be trying this soon right enough, but anyway...
once the final coat of colour is on is get the finest grit paper you can get and lightly sand the top coat, just lightly, and then lacquer it. it gives the lacquer a groove to catch when spraying.
anyway thats just my turn on it
dunno how this would turn out for bigger areas, imagine similar but hey.
