HID Headlamp Conversion (9N Polo)

Hey all,
Looking on the internet at HID kits, just wondering how big a job it is to carry out, I've fit a OEM kit on a BMW 3 Series a few year ago, including modifying the lamps to fit (lugs were broken on HID lamps/Sealed units) wasn't too big a job, but space wise etc? (1.9 TDi

Oh and does anyone reccomend any particular kits?

As for fitting I think the 1.9tdi's aew quite tight to get into the headlamp, but they are an easy job. Took me about 10mins each side but I have a 1.4 petrol

Any chance one of you guys can PM me the discount code too please? I sold my 9N to my now fiance so I still get to see it all the time. She wants HIDS for the winter, especially after seeing mine.

Do they require any drilling etc or is it just a straight swap and connecting ballast?

If the 9N has a rear plastic cover on the headlamps (which I'm guessing it does) you'd need to drill a 25mm hole in the back so you can run the loom through and grommet it efficiently. Not a hard task.
