Suggestions for my new Polo

Post by VDUB-Polo »

Ok, so i got a Polo MK7 today. I'm 17, hence the reason its a 1.2 and i'm look, atm, to get some wheels, preferably 15" and deep dish. mmmmmmm
However i'm only looking to spend around the £450-£500 mark as i'm a student and i'm low on funds XD

Any suggestions?
Thanks
Conor

I would go 16" mate, 15 are a tad small for the 9N3. You'd have to get it seriously low to pull them off. Monoblock style wheels suit the 9N3 down to the ground IMO.

i got my 1.2 when I was 17 still have it now 18 going on 19 in December,

I got some second hand wheels for about 250 quid,
then later on changed my cd player
then added a subwoofer a few months later
and just last month bought a set of 2nd hand coilovers for 200 quid, and got a mate to fit them for 60 quid
also took the 1.2 and polo sign off the back,
gunna get the windows tinted,

Stance is important and will make the biggest difference to your car,

have a look around for a pair of coilovers and get them fitted,
new wheels
then sound system

Yeah, i've had a look around and i like the 17" Monoblock type Mercedes AMG wheels. Honestly they're epic!
Also i'll be getting some springs nearer christmas. Should i get spacers for the wheels?

Personally, i would just get a suspension kit, shock absorber and springs. Springs that lower 50mm would do nicely for a standard Polo on 17" wheels.

Right, sounds good. i've just bought some secondhand GTI Headlights for £80.
Is this a good price, they seem a lot dearer elsewhere?
