It's all about rear window tints, front ones are illegal.

Only a small amount of tint is permitted for the front (around 20%), most new VWs have pre-tinted glass, so any amount of tinting film will tip them over the legal limit.

Yes, that is indeed the reason... I don't want to give them (the police) any reason to stop me...

And, anyway, being a 2door it doesn't look that bad with only the rears tinted :p

tim i know its illegal cuz i live in the same country as rosonic. nevertheless, ive had 60% on the front windows for about a year and the only policeman who stopped me for them let me go in the end after telling him that this is how i bought the car


btw, rosonic. i fitted the mondeo droplinks the ride is much smoother now. no more bumps for every little crack in the road

Updates:
I've finally installed the front wishbone bushes - cupra rear bushes + powerflex front bushes (PFF85-601) and the mondeo drop-links.
And bought a vag-com interface, to make my own logging

Next on the list - forge intake hose + pd160 "intake mod".
And I'm still undecided if I should go with a panel filter (KN,Green etc.) or just stick to the oem filter (as I've seen some tests that shows it's not that restrictive after all ).

It's here in Romania.
The road is called TransFagarasan - and is a pass in the Carpathians mountains. It is the highest road in Romania and also considered to be the most dangerous.
