Does the middle grille just pull out with a swift tug or does it need to be cut out if the bumper is not going to be removed? ive giving it a wee pull with no joy just dont want to break anything!

Ive just managed to get hold of a set of sed grilles from a guy whos recently sold his gti, its the proper vag team ones aswell which im delighted with!

Had to cut mine out 
ive read on here that people have pulled them out, but I dont see how, mine was very very very tight!
What are proper VAG Team ones? I thought you could only get one sort.

When fitting mine, I could not budge the centre one initially. But managed to get it out by bending the very top of it down all the way across, bit by bit, and then a massive tug by both me and my brother, got it out.
