anyway..
The car has now done 32k miles and it's probly never had the bonnet open in that time as it was filthy.
Here's some pictures of before my little cleaning session:
Gave her a good 250ml of degreaser to remove the oil and grime from places. Then a hose down to remove the oil and muck then used the good old Fairy liquid to wash down every thing using a 2" paint brush so i could get into all those gaps
