Picked mine up!

Post by pilot001 »

Managed to pick up my Gti late last week but have just come back from holiday and so didn't have a chance to post on the site (or drive my brand new toy) for the last few days.

GTi girl is right, the black really shows the dirt, mine needs cleaning again already depsite only having done a few miles.

The pedal box hadn't been done, so a little worried that could cost heavily later on, the alloys are also a little corroded... does anyone have any suggestions as to the best way to handle this, or at least slow the corrosion down?

Anyway, just wanted to share my joy with y'all - she's absolutely great fun, my brother was very envious!

Hey Cool 8)

Glad you like the car. I love mine, been driving around for the last few days - any excuse to get out and about.

Cleaned - washed, polished, vacummed and blacked this morning and the black beast was gleaming.

Went for a spin into the village - and thy're pulling down the old factory where I worked - got back and wow covered in dust! :x

Also covered in flies yet again. I hate those flies!

Couldn't believe it. So had to start all over, wash, polish!!!! No not really just went for another spin and blew the dust away!!!

Glad I've had the day off to enjoy. Going to Inters but will be travelling in a MKIV GTi, oh well never mind.
