ok so dumb question i know but i scratched my car at the weekend

was not impresed at all thank god its polished out (wasn't visable in the sunlight 4 some reason!!) but has any1 else found their metalic paint to be a bit on the soft side ?
any ideas thoughts anything let me know

Soft? I do know all waterbased paints are 'softer' than the older oil based paints. Better for the environment though, or something...

I heard Polo's tend to chip easily. I can confirm.

my mk4 rear arches have rust after a respray last year!!
