LED Rear Lights?
LED Rear Lights?
Does anyone know where I can get some good LED rear lights? I have already tried replacing the original bulbs with some LED one's but they just weren't bright enough :S I don't really want to replace the original light unit but just the bulbs? Maybe there is a LED board for the MK4 polo, because there is one for the MK5!
Thanks in advance

Thanks, I don't think I want to use the MK5 rears because I just don't want to drill the extra hole :S lol, but I was wondering if I just replaced the existing rear fillament bulbs with some xenon led's do you think they would be brighter than the fillament ones?

you dont need to drill any extra holes for the mk5 lights!?
if you are a perfectionist, then there is a small bit of sanding you could do to make completely flush, bar tht theres nout you drill.
as for the boards its a mateer of some work, but great outcome, worth it i thinks.

My guide makes the hole bigger in order to fit the central lug through, but you could cut the lug down to size I suppose.racerjonzo wrote:you dont need to drill any extra holes for the mk5 lights!?

The Hella LED rear lights are very good, and I'm not sure a LED bulb unit would be brighter than the normal filament bulb.....
Re: LED Rear Lights?
Yer I tried a couple of LED bulbs and they just weren't bright enough and it didn't even look like LED lights which was the whole point in the first place
I am going to try and find a pair of mk5's for sale now! Can't wait to get some
