I look forward to seeing what it comes out like, I did more door handles in gloss and they are already starting to scratch after minor use :( And this is with the paint hardening for weeks! I'd be worried about anything scuffing it really, but I think it'll look good when finished :)

Thanks buddy, bit of a tricky part to get right as when the panel is in plastic u cant see what u can see when in full gloss black like ripples in the plastic and some pull in's from the clips melted/formed on the revearse side so im having to block down the plastic and fill the lows in the plastic but im a spray painter for rolls royce and bentley so i do it myself but a local bodyshop should charge you around 150-250 depending on there time scales and products/ finish u require i think!

I think im gona have to be like mega careful wen driving and fitting back as its full gloss black :?

Im using Glasurit paint products wich are the best around as rolls royce use them so therefor we have to and the gloss black is a 2pac bmw code tinted to be be even richer, 5 types of black are added to get the finish, its VERY black and yes there are types/shades of blackness  hard going but very worthwil i rekon

Hvent seen it done before the gear surround and that!?!!???

Looks great mate, the leather breaks the gloss up nicely, has worked really well.

Is the rear badge black emblem and colour coded background? (hard to see from the pics), not a fan of the black.

silver emblem and colour coded background looks best IMO.

Yeah it worked really well, real happy with it now and iv got my headlining coming so im doin that aswell and my a,b pillars and boot trim in the perferated leather!

Yeah its silver background and gloss emblem!

Colour match is really good but the picture makes it look really off, took it at night.
Will get a better one in the daytime!

just cant wait to fit it all back up and be kinda done!
