help fitting a 9n steering wheel to 6n2?
right as you are all aware off the common fault with the standard 6n2 wheel it getting badly warn and looking old nd abused, does it anyone no if it is possible to fit the 9n wheel and what would i have to do to do this or is there any other good options to take any ideas welcome just fancy a change with it.

i think the spline and mounts are a different size. you would have to look at another 6n2 one, or a golf or something (bear in mind it would ideally need to have an airbag too)

upgrade to a what, i'm not after no fancy racing wheel without airbag i'm keeping safe with something with an airbag just wondered if anyone knew if there's out that fits same or has done this before.

just checked and the 9n airbag isnt compatible with the 6n2 wiring

oh thats a shame would of been a nice swap over if it would of worked never mind thanks for your help anyway mate are you thinking off doing the same aswell? i dont no which to go for now i fancied a change of wheel but keep air bag etc similar to the 9n newish design but that aint going to work.

Does the GTI Leather wheel wear as much as the standard one? That could be a possibility

it's a possibility then if i ever find one breaking, i was looking at the mark 4 golf i think it is 1999 model i like that steering wheel to but doubt that will fit will it.
