TROTTA'S Audi TT Quattro sport 240 thread,UPDATED!.*
Re: Trotta's progress thread, *!!GEAR SUROUND TRIMMED, PICS!!*
Looking good! Would the "real leather cloth" be any good for door cards? Mine are looking poor and I want to freshen them up with a retrim.

Its really really thin stuff so im pretty sure u can use it yeah, but id use thick normal leather if i was u mate as u cant move this around that much to form shapes needed for a door card perhaps! Certainly give it ago!

Yeah urs looks ok mate with the red VW thing i like that i might steel some of that idea lol,
Nah i am sprayer so no peeling or flaking issues as iv done it with the best paint products on the market dude!
Aslong as u dont rush and use the correct stuff u shouldnt get any probs!
I would say go with the flocking idea as i had to shape up the gear surround cos it had loads off lows when the plastics clips pull in!

Re: Trotta's progress thread, *!!HUGE UPDATE WITH PICS, LOOK!*
HUGE UPDATE HERE FOR YOU GUYS AND UR GONA LIKE IT I REKON, BEEN ABIT BUST SPENDING MONEY SO HERES THE QUICK GUIDE OF WHAT IV BEEN UP TOO,
Had all my carpet re-trimmed in red carpet, black headlining in swade and perferated a, b pillars to match the door cards abit as i didnt want the swade on the front pillars but i dunno i might match it later on....................

Would off liked it abit darker but it looks more red in the pics, iv also got custom floor matts for shows and iv still got to get black handles n visors and put my rear cards back in to hide the edge and modify them abit so it all goes in nicely, the rear is having more work done to tidy it up.
What ya reckon guys???????????

Re: Trotta's progress thread, *!!HUGE UPDATE WITH PICS, LOOK!*
Oooff bit mis match for me. Carpet is very loud, and I think it would have been a lot better to do the pillars the same as the roof. There's too much going on with gloss black, suede black, perforated black, and red. Nice effort though, as long as your happy!
Re: Trotta's progress thread, *!!HUGE UPDATE WITH PICS, LOOK!*
Can't decide if I like the carpet or not, I look at it and think "Where are the bright orange Recaro Leathers?". I think a nice bright interior would set it off nicely, but like Tim said I think its a bit mix matched at the moment. I'd agree in saying the pillars to match roof, but maybe the leather for the shelf and cards?
Re: Trotta's progress thread, *!!HUGE UPDATE WITH PICS, LOOK!*
You need to do something with the seats now as they look out of place

Re: Trotta's progress thread, *!!HUGE UPDATE WITH PICS, LOOK!*
Yeah il be doing the a, b pillars in the same headling gear as i did these pillars before the headlining so fort id wake em back in for now just to see but yeah the seats are being done next month in red leather so it should come together once its all finished! and the rear cards are going back in and my c pillars so this is just progress really!
Re: Trotta's progress thread, *!!HUGE UPDATE WITH PICS, LOOK!*
I like the amount of work you've done man,if i wasn't an oem gay im sure id be stoked to have changed so much in the car.Good work for sure.
As mentioned before it does look alittle busy i try and keep it alittle more simple, but then again once you've matched up the pillars with the head lining i think it'll look a load better
