Electrics go off

This has happened 3 times in the past 5 days. Ill put my key in the ignition and the electrics will go off for 2 seconds. The clock resets, head unit setting resets, and trip computer resets . the mileage stays there, But like when the power comes back the alarm arms itself.

Its like the battery is being disconnected and connected again. ive checked the battery terminal snd they are fine. i havent done any work on the car for a few months jus been driving normally

Can it be my battery on its way out?

sounds like a dodgy battery mate.
similar thing happened to mines yesterday got in put key into the igniton and the speedo and rev counter needles started flapping then just stopped engine wouldnt even go on. had to jump start the car. everything seems fine today though. going to get a new battery tomorrow to be on the safe side i think.

Ye thats a dodgy battery for sure - happened when mine was flattening down.
