Tyre question

Post by SiDaBa »

I have these wheels.

Neil very kindly told me i'd need 205/45/16 tyres, however i've been somewhere today that told me that they'll rub and i'm better going for 195/45/16, will that be ok? :)

VW offer 205/45/16 with their factory fitted option alloys.
they shouldnt rub because 17s with 205/40/17 dont and they are bigger.

Hope this helps

If your after much cheapness and decent performance you need to get some Toyo Proxes.

Try www.mytyres.co.uk

Tyre prices there don't differ much from where i was going to go, for Goodyear Eagle F1's 195/45/16 = £82 for 205/45/16 = £105 !!!!!

Haven't used Goodyears before, but they're very expensive and you can gaurantee the performance won't be as decent as the Toyo's.
