I think i'll have to wait a few years to get one now. I just can't get a nice one now and fork out for the hefty insurance as well.

I think it'll be better for me to wait for a really nice one and not rush it and buy a crappy one. However, i think i've found a nice one for £3,295. Take a look:

I think i should go for one like this when possible. In the insurance department, i'll have to be 25 ish and have had my licence for about 4 years before insurance can get to a decent level (roughly £510)

what do you guys think of the car, is that the kind of thing i should be looking for?

thanks in advance.

My insurance is £780 a year, all mods declared no NCBs been driving 4 years, was 21 at the time (just turned 22 now), that gets me third party fire and theft on anyone else's car with their consent also. I wouldn't say that's extortionate.

That car looks OK. It's hard to tell just by looking at the pictures, bit of wear on the steering wheel and gaitor but nowadays that's expected.

Cool cheers for that tim.I noticed that there were alot of neglected ones, when looking/researching them lastyear which you're right does bring the average price down.To be honest from what ive seen it's becoming quite difficult indeed to come across a minter nowadays.Going to make sure mine stays in it's full glory for a long time from now,we all should.

I payed £4400 last March, 50000 miles, full service history, heated leather and 2 owners. It is definitely worth waiting/travelling for the right car, mine has been brilliant!

Thanks a lot for the offer, unfortunately i won't be able to afford a new car at the moment  i really, really want one, but this christmas has really taken a huge toll on finances :( .

However, if you post details and pics of it, maybe someone else on here might be interested.

In the very near future, ASAP i will get one! Just wish me luck :D
