If you were only three minutes late I would find out how long they are meant to wait because I thought they had to wait around five minutes before issueing a ticket. If you got a ticket only three minutes after ure ticket ran out it means the warden was waiting around by ure car, this is something they are not meant to do. I watched a programme on traffic wardens last week and they were doing this although they said it was illegal so to speak..

I got busted with a ticket last year. I twice put my money in the machine to buy a ticket but the machine spat it back out, I did'nt buy a ticket becuase I could`nt. I told them this in the letter I sent, they said we have`nt had any other complaints so I had to pay it, complete to55ers and they wonder why they get things thrown at them

ahh i really hate when they get picky.
I had my car parked in the wrong place once and the guy was like sorry ticket has gone trough the system now. Then after couple of minutes of arguing , he goes to me ok go and get me a 10 pounds tmobile topup and ill cancel the ticket. Then im like wait let me see your machine. i looked at it and it wasnt even on!

i jus drove off and thank god nothing came in the post

Lol, I'm going to look into how long they have to wait... I mean it's only £25 but it's unecessary. If I had seen the person I'd have kicked off and refused it and drove off without it !. I hope whoever it was has a s**t Christmas lol. I'm gonna pay it then dispute it although I was generally late... I may stick with the flat tyre story lol ?. There's a garage nearbye I know that I'm sure will cover me. Cheers for your help :)

If they put a ticket on a waiting ambulance, what chance do you think you will have ...

you know if you drive off without him physically putting it on your car, the ticket is void!

No longer true, they changed that. You even get tickets in the post if your car has been spotted by CCTV.
