problem with camber any ideas???

Post by nick6n2 »

hi guys, when the 6n2 was lowered the wheels seemed ok had all alignment done etc and since then iv re fitted the standard springs but straight away passenger side wheel is cambered inwards at the top more than usual even after having the wheels re aligned again,

any ideas what the problem could be it seems to of been from re fitting the shock but is there a rong way of doing this does the plate at the top have to be correct or does it not matter aslong as it's aligned up with all 3 holes?

the main things that affect camber are the strut bolts at the bottom of the shock, and the wishbone bolts underneath. Unless you havent fitted something back correctly, there should be no reason why the camber isnt correct. Have you got a pic of how bad it is?

Not necessarily - it depends on the position of the strut bolts also. All needs to be considered ;)
