Wing Mirror Lights

Post by Karson3270 »

Hi there guys, Browsing youtube for some nice polos and I come across this guy, who is actually clever what he has done, and I love his idea!

As some of you may know, I love lighting in my car! And I always want more and more lights in my car!

Does anybody know how to do this at all? It looks amazing!

Thanks

Also does anybody kow how to change interior lights, like the guy on the video has?

I don't know if it was an option or not in the UK but it might have been in Italy (where the guys from).

By the looks of things, hes got a festoon, or some sort of light unit, carved the shape of the unit into the wing mirror and installed it into it whilst wiring it into the interior ceiling wires (as these have the option to light up when you unlock the car).

The thing is, where do the interior ceiling wires lead too? There surely must be an easier way to get access of those wires to tap into them :S

Not too sure mate, but I'm gonna have a little go myself, maybe buy a little courtesy light of some sort from somewhere and try to install it into my wing mirror.

Anybody any ideas or guides how to remove and dismantle a wing mirror?
