Strange Encounter with my Windows

Today I experienced something strange on the drive to uni..

Randomly, my passenger window opened and whenever I closed it, it re-opened. To overcome this I locked my central locking but on the way home from uni it happened again but this time the central locking method did not work.. Eventually the window gave up and decided to stay close

Anyone have a clue of what's going on?!?

Try the reset method to see if that sorts it? From memory, it is open the window all the way and keep the down button pressed for another 10 seconds or so. You will probably find the full procedure if you do a search on the reset.

I found a few people saying its: "up,down,hold up" or "hold down" or "down, up, hold down"

Anyhow I've tries the 'up,down,up' method - have to see how it goes

I had same problem. The switch for windows is faulty. Which one, that is what you need to find out yourself. I mine case it was switch for window on drivers side. I hope this will be helpful for you.

Thanks will take that into consideration.. At the moment it hasn't happened since I tried the reset method.. *fingers crossed*

Also the passenger window button on the drivers side half works.. It winds the window up but not down.. Does this bring any ideas or rule out that switch possible??
