installing the rclick devise today i round teh boot light under the carpet lol i didnt even know i had one... BUT supprise supprise it dosent work lol does anyone know why ? my interior light fuse went today so will replace it tomoz but that wouldnt be the reason would it as im sure there not connected... maybe its a common problem ?. also not sure if its connected but i dont get the boot light on my dash saying the boot is open either, i did for about a week after my crash (thats how i discovered it lol) but its gone now... any ideas ??? :D

They may be on the same fuse from memory. As said in a post earlier, the boot light on the dash and the boot light are controlled by a microswitch in the lock mechanism for the boot. Its a replaceable part and often fails. Look to pay around 8-10 quid for it from a dealer.

Nope. Just unscrew the two bolts that hold the lock in on the boot lid and there is a wire plugged into it. Unplug this and carefully pull the microswitch out of its holder.

Where exactly under the carpet are these connections located?
