I'm looking to purchase a VAG-COM unit, have been looking on ebay but there are so many I'm not too sure which one is best for me?
Can anyone point me in the right direction?

any of the VAGCOM 409.1 ones is suitable

Yes, sorry about that. Seems to me we have similar problem so i thought why not i ask some questions about that issue and use your post!
