Poor Brake pedal feel

Post by joe2612 »

Hi guys, recenltey replaced my front discs and pads with the ones from my previous polo gti, ( which were already beaded in) and now i have barely any brake pedal feel and the brakes just feel awful now. any ideas on what could be causing it? or could it be that the calipers haven't adjusted or the system needs bleeding?

thoughts are appreciated cheers!

Check the fluid level in the brake resevoir. It could be that as the old pads wore down the fluid may have been topped up.I would try bleeding them too just to be sure as the piston in the caliper may be sitting at a different position that before.
