Tyres

Post by jimlad09 »

What tyres are people running on? What mileage you managing to get?

I just replaced my two front dunlop sport maxx's for pirelli p zero nero's and im very impressed. I also had ATS put nitrogen in the tyres as my old man had it in his bmw company car n its spot on!

Yes Costco only use Nitrogen now for about six good reasons, but I don't know if they buy in pallets of OFN and regulate the pressure down to tyre pressures or do they have a "thing" that makes Nitrogen out of local air - yes I know that air is almost all Nitrogen already, but do they extract the moisture and Oxygen "on site"? Now that would be a bit tricky to do properly AND cheaply, probably better off buying in a pallet of OFN as its very nice and dry, though the total lack of Oxygen would inevitably lead to reduction on any exposed metal coatings its always good to have a 95/5% mix - but that costs a lot more than OFN.
